UPDATE: Eden body identified as that of missing Baltimore man

Maryland State Police have identified the body of a man found in an Eden ditch Thursday.

Officials say the victim is 22-year-old Damon Jennings. The Baltimore man was reported missing earlier this month.

His body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine cause and manner of death. Investigators said Thursday that there were signs of obvious trauma.

The body was discovered Tuesday afternoon around 2PM by someone walking along Backbone Road near Seatick Road. Maryland State Police are working with detectives from the Baltimore Police Department on the case.
