Somerset Co. man charged with molesting Wicomico Co. boy

A Crisfield man faces multiple molestation charges for the alleged sexual abuse of a nine-year-old boy.

According to the court documents, the victims’ mother contacted police, accusing James Stephens of reportedly molesting her child.

Investigators interviewed the woman and her son who said the sexual abuse apparently happened over the course of several months between August and October of this year.

Stephens now faces one count of sexual abuse of a minor, and two counts third degree sex offense, among other charges.  He is due in court later this month.
