Shooting damages occupied home, police investigating

DOVER, Del. –  An investigation is underway after a Dover home was damaged by gunfire Monday evening.

We’re told the incident took place just after 8 p.m., in the 400 block of New Castle Avenue. When officers arrived, a female occupant of the home reported that a single round had hit the front of her residence.

No injuries were reported.
