The search continues for one Sussex Co. work release offender

The Department of Correction announces that it is currently searching one Sussex County Work Release offender.

On Friday, November 27, 2015, offender Amber Cain left the Sussex Community Corrections Center or S.C.C.C in Georgetown on an approved work pass.

SCCC staff subsequently learned that Cain did not arrive to her work location, and immediate attempts were undertaken to make contact with the offender. An escape warrant for her arrest was issued and her whereabouts are unknown at this time.
