Woodbridge knotches first win over Indian River

The Woodbridge Blue Raiders got their first win of the season, going on the road to knock off Indian River 71-52 in Dagsboro.

Cornell Corbin finished with a game high 17 points to lead the Blue Raiders, with his brother Hassan Corbin netting 14. Woodbridge would jump out to an 18-10 lead after one quarter, and led 32-24 at the break.

The teams would score 14 points each in the third, before Woodbridge put up 25 in the fourth, to secure the big win. Freshman Jamier Felton pushed the Indians with 15 points, 6 steals, and four assists. Senior big man Deandre Cooper scored 14 in the loss.

Woodbridge is back in action Thursday when they host Laurel, while IR travels to take on Delmarva Christian on Monday.
