Strong 3rd quarter brings Indians back over Wildcats

The Wi-Hi boys basketball team came from 14 down at the half, to defeat Delmar 63-59 in the 2015 Governor’s Challenge tip-off.

Jordan Brittingham led the Indians with a game-high 26 points. The Tribe used a 13-2 third quarter run to cut their halftime deficit. After tying the game, the Indians stayed on the pedal to gain a lead in the fourth. Their pressing defense helped keep the lead and gain the win. Senior forward Barry Gaines Jr scored 19 for the Indians in the win. Shyheim Mitchell led Delmar with 24 points, while Brooks Parker and Dejour Brown scored 11 each in the loss.
