UPDATE: Suspects arrested in shooting death of Horntown man

Two arrests have been made in the shooting death of a Horntown man who died in early February, police announce Saturday.
We’re told Pocomoke City man Tavone Tyrell Cropper, 24, was arrested Friday for the shooting death of 22-year-old Robert Franklin Baytops IV.
Police responded to a home on Raymond Townsend Lane just after midnight on February 4 and found Baytops suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, where he later died.
According to the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office, Cropper has been charged with First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
New Church man Jahad Arell Triggs, 20, was arrested Thursday in connection to the homicide.
Lieutenant Gerald Goga of the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says Triggs has been charged with First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
Both Triggs and Cropper are incarcerated in the Accomack County Jail with bond denied.
