Brothers at arms MC aims to restore war memorial

The 1955 War Memorial in Salisbury is long overdue for renovation according to the Brothers at Arms Motor Cycle Club. That’s why Saturday they hosted a corn hole tournament at the Elks Lodge in Salisbury Maryland to kick off fund-raising for the monument’s renovation.

Their goal is to raise $150,000, which would pay for the materials and man power needed to restore the monument. The money would also go to remove and update an enclosed scroll that features the names of all the soldiers from Wicomico County that lost their lives in war prior to 1955.

If you’d like to donate, you can do so by making a check payable to the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce with War Memorial put in the memo line.
