Authorities investigating deadly shooting in Ogletown

Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting at an Ogletown apartment complex.

New Castle County police say in a statement that officers responded to the Prides Court apartments around 7:41 p.m. Saturday for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, police say officers found a man had been shot in the torso and leg. The man, who was in his 30s, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification, and no information has been released on any possible suspects.

The investigation remains ongoing.
