Eunity Solutions holds virtual town hall to discuss diversity and inclusion

DELAWARE – On Saturday, state officials and law enforcement discussed equity and cultural differences during a virtual town hall.

The event was hosted by the group Eunity Solutions.

Different organizations like the United Way of Delaware and the NAACP Middletown-Odessa-Townsend branch also participated in the town hall.

Speakers talked about police brutality and how to build inclusive and anti-racial communities.

Some of them also shared information on inclusive initiatives that they’re doing in their businesses.

“It is not just having these conversations, but it’s talking about how do we move forward, what is the way forward, what are we doing at organizations that is working and what is not working and how can we change and learn from others that are doing great things,” said Eunity Solutions CEO Dr. Eunice B. Gwanmesia.

Other speakers at the virtual panel included Chief Michael Hertzfeld at the Delaware Capitol Police and Delaware Representative Sherry Dorey Walker.
