Community celebrates 100-year-old Pittsville man with drive-thru birthday parade

PITTSVILLE, Md. – 47ABC wants to wish a very happy birthday to William “Cigar” Sadberry who turned 100 years old today.

William was born in Georgia back in 1920 but has lived in Pittsville for the last 74 years.

On Saturday, many family members of Sadberry celebrated his 100th birthday with a drive-thru birthday parade.

When you ask William what the secret to life is he will tell you to eat and drink what you want and that he has made it this far because he is just a cool dude.
