Dover child care center burglary under investigation
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating after a child care facility was burglarized Saturday afternoon.
Police say the incident happened between 4:39 p.m. and 4:46 p.m., at which point an unknown male suspect gained entry to the Dover Children’s Village child care center through a rear window. He then reportedly stole various items and fled on foot through the main entrance door.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video and is described as a male of average height and build, wearing a black hat, dark shirt with stripes on the sleeves, orange and yellow traffic safety vest, dark jeans, and black shoes.
