Delaware’s Animal Welfare Director retires from position

Officials say that former state senator Patricia Blevins resigned as Delaware's Animal Welfare Director.
The Delaware Division of Public Health says that they were thrilled that Patricia Blevins accepted the O.A.W. Executive Director position, but that they were sorry to see her go.
Blevins reportedly decided to retire so that she could spend more time with her family. The Division of Public Health says that they respect her decision and that they have the utmost respect and highest regard for her and that they wish her the best.
Christine Motoyoshi has been named Acting Director. Motoyoshi was the deputy director.
