Police: Teen airlifted after jet ski accident in Bishopville

Police say that two kids were involved in a jet ski accident in Bishopville on Friday afternoon.

According to Maryland Natural Resources Police, at 2:02 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to Lighthouse Sound on St. Martin's Neck Road for the report of a jet ski accident.

Police say that two kids were involved. A 16-year-old male teen was airlifted to Peninsula Regional Medical Center while the other child was uninjured. Police say the jet ski hit a marsh.
