State leaders honor 2020 SU grads
SALISBURY, Md. – Even though graduation was postponed for Salisbury University grads, state leaders still made an effort to honor them for all their hard work.
Campus and community leaders came together sharing messages, videos, and pictures congratulating seniors for making it this far, and sharing memories from their time at SU. Each senior was also sent a celebration kit stuffed with SU items and a special maroon cap with a decorated gold top for the actual graduation ceremonies, which will take place in December.
On top of this, U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, and Salisbury University President Charles Wight all shared their own virtual congratulations to the Class of 2020 and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
