Officials investigating Oxford dumpster fire that caused $2k in damage

Officials say that they are investigating a dumpster fire that happened in Oxford on Monday night.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office, at 7:33 p.m. on Monday night, eight firefighters with the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department responded to a blaze at a Maryland Environmental Science commercial recycling dumpster on Oxford Road.
Officials say that the estimated loss of the dumpster was $2,000. The fire started inside of the dumpster and it took about 10 minutes to control the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and deputies say that no one was injured. There was one alarm.
