Police: Pedestrian hit in Ocean City

Police say that a pedestrian was hit in Ocean City on Thursday morning.

According to Ocean City Police Department, at 9:21 a.m., officers responded to 85th Street and Coastal Highway for the report of a woman in her 30s being hit by a car.

The victim reportedly suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Ocean City EMS.

The suspect was cited for failure to use due caution to prevent a collision with a pedestrian.
