Believe in Tomorrow hosts virtual silent auction

OCEAN CITY, Md. – In Maryland, the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation is counting on its community to help continue supporting critically ill children with a virtual silent auction.

The virtual event kicked off on Monday and will go all week.

Some of the items include signed team logo footballs and baseballs.

Respite coordinator Wayne Littleton says these funds will help offset the loss from having to reschedule their annual Gala by the Sea, which can generate up to 50,000 dollars a year.

They’re hoping virtual events like this will help them stay afloat during this difficult time.

“Very fortunate for us the community like what we do, so our events have held very strong through the course of the years,” said Wayne Littleton, coordinator for the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Respite Housing Program.

“So, right now these virtual raffles and online auctions and whatever else we can do will sustain us until we can hopefully get back to doing some events,” said Littleton.

We’re told the virtual silent auction will go on until next Monday. For more information on how you can participate, click here.
