Delmar woman charged with DUI

A Wicomico County woman is facing a DUI charge, after she apparently started a car, while drunk, in front of a Sheriffs Deputy.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Authorities were called to a house on West Line Road in Delmar for a domestic dispute involving 32-year-old Rachel Dolan, who was apparently drunk.

Officials say the Deputy told her to remain on the scene, but Dolan allegedly got into her car and and started it. The Deputy then reportedly took her out of the car and placed her under arrest.

After she was in custody, Authorities learned her license was suspended by both Maryland and Delaware, and she was awaiting trial for another DUI charge from January. Officials say she was held on bond.
