Teen bicyclist air-lifted to hospital following Tilghman Island crash

A Tilghman Island man has charges pending against him, after Police say he hit a teenager on a bicycle.
Maryland State Police – Easton Barrack says on Thursday, a 13-year-old was riding a bike on Tilghman Island Road, when he continued from a stop sign, and made his way into the roadway.
Police say as the child was in the road, he was hit by a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by David Grimes. The 13-year-old apparently suffered injuries to his legs, and was air-lifted to John Hopkins for treatment. Grimes was taken to Easton Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
