What should be a joyous time filled with celebrations just can’t happen in the traditional way right now.

But a group over at Salisbury University is hoping their new effort will brighten the day of recent graduates.

To lift students’ spirits and give them the recognition they deserve during this difficult time – the school’s alumni association has launched a new effort.

The group posted a request on their Facebook page asking people to send in congratulatory messages via drop box or email.

University official, Jayme Block, says this is a simple way to encourage new grads.

“This is something to obviously engage our alumni so they can say best wishes to our 2020 graduates. Its really a partnership across our university to let our graduates know that we care about them and that an entire group of alumni are waiting to embrace them,” says Block.

This effort isn’t just for alumni.

If you’d like to participate, organizers are asking that you send a video, written message or picture to mktvideo@salisbury.edu by May 1st.

These messages can also be sent via dropbox using that same email address.
