Monday Memo – March 28, 2016

SHOREBIRDS TICKETS are here.  The Sales Team has until COB Thursday to claim tickets for clients.  Starting Friday morning, it will be open to employees to request tickets for personal use as well as continued client use.  To help you think about April, here is the status:

  • For each day listed, we have 4 tickets and a parking pass
  • Tuesday, 4/5 is an exhibition game.  Start time is 7:05PM and tickets are available
  • Thursday, 14 April, game time = 7:05 PM
  • Friday, 15 April, game time = 7:05
  • Saturday, 16 April, game time = 7:05 (this is a fireworks night)

Some of those games could be gone by Friday, but you should check with Elaine.  I will provide an update next week and weekly thereafter.  I’m looking forward to a winning season for our local Team!  Due to the recent weather, there has been a delay in getting our billboard up.  Installation was re-scheduled for Saturday.  Picture likely for next week.

OUT IN THE COMMUNITY

  • Wednesday evening, I will be serving as a judge at the YEA! Investor Panel at Salisbury University.  This is a Shark Tank-like event for middle and high school students
  • Thursday afternoon, Greg LaFrance and Lindsy Adkins will be working at our booth at the Wor-Wic Job Fair
  • Saturday is 1st Saturday in Downtown Salisbury (4-7PM)

RENOVATIONS UPDATE:

  • We have accepted the quote for Plan B for the lobby railing and are awaiting a timeline.
  • The Lobby furniture has been shipped and will arrive at our vendor’s today or tomorrow.  Unfortunately, now our decorator is on vacation!  We have scheduled a date, Thursday, 7 April, for both to arrive here.  I’ll let you know if that changes.

TO YOUR HEALTH!  The signup sheets for free 2Q16 YMCA basic memberships are posted on the station bulletin board by the time clock.  Please check your status and note if anything has changed.  All comments and membership changes (additions and deletions) are due by Thursday.
