UPDATE: Dover death investigation officially ruled homicide

Delaware State Police have released new details surrounding the death of 24-year-old Dontray Hendricks, of Dover.

According to reports detectives are now ruling Hendricks death a homicide. During an autopsy by the Division of Forensic Sciences it was reportedly determined the cause of death was being shot. Authorities say, they are not releasing any further details at this time as to not jeopardize the ongoing investigation.

Hendricks was reportedly found dead Wednesday at the Port Mahon Pier in Dover.
