Three Del. mothers honored with awards

Three women were awarded with special honors on Thursday in Delaware.

Michelle Wall, Loretta Wootten, and Dr. Janet Trout have been named “Mothers Of The Year” in the state of Delaware for 2016.

Wall, a Middletown resident, has been named the Young Mother Of The Year. Wootten of Dover has been named Mother of the Year. Dr. Trout of Dover and Georgetown has been named the 2016 “Mother of Achievement”.

We’re told the mothers had to be nominated and complete a portfolio explaining their accomplishments, community service, and concepts of mothering.
