Harris announces over $18 million in emergency grants to Md. airports

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Wednesday, Andy Harris announced the award of more than $18 million in federal grants from the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program.

Harris says the funding was provided by the recently enacted CARES Act. Six airports in the First Congressional District will receive funding, including:

• Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport: $30,000
• Crisfield-Somerset County Airport: $1,000
• Easton Airport-Newnam Field: $157,000
• Ocean City Municipal Airport: $30,000
• Salisbury Regional Airport: $18,120,304
• Bay Bridge Airport (Stevensville): $30,000
