Local church holds Drive-Thru Easter Service amid pandemic
SALISBURY, Md. – Local congregations all across Delmarva got a little extra creative today in an effort to host their Easter services during the pandemic.
Several local churches like the Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury hosted a drive-in service.
At the Faith Baptist Church people got to listen to the service through the radio or through online streaming while watching their pastor on stage.
Members of the church say right now it’s important to come together during this uncertain time.
“Getting the people together and being able to see each other even though they’re in a car and enclosed by themself, they’ll be able to be reminded that they’re not alone, that we’re in this together, the Lord is with us and he’s going to give us victory,” said Pastor Robert Reinert at the Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury.
Members of Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury say they will continue to stream their services online for the community to watch during the pandemic.
