BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR!

Thursday night, the Management Team turned out to share in the honor of accepting the Business Woman of the Year Award presented to me by the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.  As we all know, these awards don’t belong to just one person; it is the Teamwork that makes it possible.  Our award will be placed in the display unit (yet to arrive) in the Lobby with some other recently received recognitions in our Creative Services Department.  Thanks to Nancy Mitchell for the photograph.

OUT IN THE COMMUNITY

Week before last, Julian Sadur spoke with the multi-media class at the Dorchester Career and Technology Center about his journey to broadcast television and shared thoughts on career development.  At the end of the visit, Julian had a few students volunteer to do stand-ups which he then filmed.  They all had tons of fun, producing tons of smiles!

Last Wednesday, the 47 ABC Bowling Team took to Cherokee Lanes as part of “Bowl for Kid’s Sake”.  The event was a fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  The Team members included Julian Sadur, Lenita Wesson, Jaisol Martinez, Lissette Nunez and Michelle Mackonochie.  It was a friendly competition against themselves.  Congratulations to Jaisol who came out on top!

On Thursday, Daniel Johnson met with a group of home-schooled kids grades K-6 who meet at Crosspointe Nazarene in Salisbury.  They are currently learning about clouds and other weather phenomena.  Daniel reports that they are a smart group and already knew a lot about weather before he got there.
