Short-term rental restrictions announced in Somerset Co.
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Somerset County officials have announced a restriction on short-term rentals as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
County Commissioners have issued Resolution 1150, which is a declaration restricting all non-essential, short term rentals in unincorporated areas in Somerset County.
This means that all Airbnb, Bed and Breakfast, or other short-term rental properties should not accept any new occupants regardless of reservation date, or extend any existing reservations for current occupants except for essential lodgers.
This will remain in effect until Hogan’s stay-at-home order is lifted.
