Salisbury FD responds to house fire on Zion Rd.

The Salisbury Fire Department says crews responded to a Zion Rd. house fire around 7 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say upon arriving on scene, a large volume of fire and smoke was found in areas around the chimney.

Additional help was reportedly requested by Delmar, Pittsville, Powellville and Willards.

The fire fight apparently lasted for three hours.
