Man faces charges in Wicomico Co. crime spree

A Fruitland man is now being held without bond after he apparently admitted to robbing three businesses and a post office in Wicomico County over the last few weeks.

According to court documents obtained by 47 ABC, Antwane Jones is now facing charges after he allegedly burglarized Lucky Star and robbed the Fruitland wine rack, the U-S Post Office in Fruitland, and the Educational Supply Store in Salisbury.

Court documents say Jones was identified as a suspect in these four cases after some of witnesses identified some key tattoos. Jones was apparently taken into custody last week and, according to court documents, confessed to the crimes.

According to an official with the Wicomico County Detention Center, Jones is being held there without bond.
