Ironman Looking for Volunteers in Cambridge

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The City of Cambridge is gearing up for more than a thousand athletes to come to town this weekend for the annual Ironman.

Around 1,600 athletes will run, bike, and swim through way through the city and the Choptank river.

And organizers of the event are looking for up to 1,000 volunteers to help out with every facet of the race.

Race Organizer, Brian Snow says, “…Welcoming the athletes, and doing the, welcome ceremony. And then of course, we have, the swim volunteers, the bike volunteers, the run volunteers, they can do everything from stripping wetsuits all first thing in the morning to, handing out, gels and wristbands up to midnight.”
