Hurlock preparing for massive Halloween celebration

(HURLOCK, Md) – The Town of Hurlock is getting ready to go all out this weekend for Halloween.

The town is sending their trolley out across the town with a Halloween in Hurlock celebration, culminating in a tradition held by Mayor Earl Murphy.

Mayor Murphy and his wife, Michelle are hosting their 20th Annual Marshmallows with the Murphy’s event, welcoming kids across town for a community oriented evening full of fun.

Murphy says he never imagined this celebration would get this big and have so much backing from the community.

“It’s always been big and it just continues. And this being a Saturday night and 20 years later, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone come out and enjoy the safe environment that we’ve created. And when I say we, it’s everybody. We’ve got a lot of people like the Lions Club, the police department, the fire department…” says Murphy.

Halloween in Hurlock kicks off Saturday at 6 P.M.
