Ghost Gun, 3D-Printed Firearm Seized Through Dover Traffic Stop

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department has arrested two and seized multiple firearms following a traffic stop on Wednesday.

Just before noon on Sept. 9, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 318 North DuPont Highway. During the stop, officers located two 9mm handguns inside the car. One was identified as a Polymer80 “ghost gun” equipped with a machine gun conversion device, enabling the firearm to fire fully automatically.

As the investigation continued, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Ashby Lane with assistance from the Delaware State Police Kent Drug Unit. An additional 3D-printed handgun was located and seized.

Two individuals were arrested in connection with the firearms investigation; 20-year-old Noah Blake of Dover, and a 17-year-old juvenile. Blake is charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of a destructive weapon, and hindering prosecution. He was committed to the Sussex Correction Institute on a $4,000 cash bond.

The juvenile is charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a person under 18, criminal contempt of a domestic violence protective order, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and related gun charges.
