Wor-Wic Community College cancels all classes next week

SALISBURY, Md. – Wor-Wic Community College has announced that all classes next week, March 16th-21st, have been canceled.
We’re told that there are two exceptions to this cancellation. The ESCIA will continue operations as normal, and off-site clinicals will be allowed to continue, as long as clinical facilities allow students to attend. However, that does not extend to on-campus labs. Clinical students will be allowed liberal leave, meaning if they are not able to attend, they will be given a make-up opportunity after the State of Emergency is over.
The college will remain open for business as usual over the next two days. While students are away next week, the college will be open for faculty and staff to make final preparations for remote delivery of instruction to begin on Monday, March 23rd, and make preparations for teleworking.
Until further notice, no college sponsored out-of state travel will be allowed. College-sponsored student and staff travel will be limited to in-state events with less than 50 expected attendees.
Finally, all scheduled events on campus are canceled through the end of March.
