7 Brew’s Grand Opening In Salisbury Brewed Up A Buzz

SALISBURY, Md. — A grand opening in south Salisbury has the Eastern Shore buzzing, WMDT checked out the newest caffeine hot spot.

7 Brew customer Nina Burns said, “We got up at 5 a.m. this morning and drove from Delaware just to be here.”

Caffeine lovers from around the Shore made their way to Salisbury for 7 Brew’s grand opening, and for most people, it brewed up quite the excitement.

Another 7 Brew customer, Brook Cook, said, “It’s cool to have one of these in Salisbury. It’s been really cool to watch this since they tore down the old building and to watch this come alive.”

You may be wondering: What’s causing the anticipation surrounding 7 Brew?

“I’m super excited to try all the coffees. We see them on TikTok all the time,” Burns said.

With all the different flavors that can be added to coffee, lemonade, matcha drinks, smoothies and more, it may take a long time to run out of things to try.

“I got the iced sugar cookie blondie, which has toasted coconut, toasted marshmallow, cupcake and vanilla,” Burns said. She added that she was tempted to get four drinks but was willing to make the drive again to the Salisbury location.

“We thought about getting four and trying all of them, but we’ll make the hour drive again,” she said.

Burns hopes to see a location open in Delaware someday.

“We would love for one of these to be in Delaware. We live down by the beaches, and we think this would be a great addition down there,” Burns said.

Brooke Schnorr, operator of the Maryland 7 Brew location, has her own recommendation.

“Our Blondie is what everyone loves, and it’s what we’re known for. It already has the syrups and cream in it,” Schnorr said. “I actually like our Brunette a little better. It’s more of a mocha base, so for people who love chocolate, I would try a Brunette.”

Again, there are 22,000 ways to make it your own.

Schnorr is excited for 7 Brew to become part of a community where she has many fond memories.

“My family has gone to Ocean City every year since we were kids,” she said. “Being able to pour into this community and get to know kids who were born and raised in Salisbury, we love that.”
