SALISBURY, Md. – A former Somerset County paramedic has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual crimes against a minor.

According to court records obtained by WMDT, on May 22, Judge Matthew Maciarello sentenced 50-year-old Donald Mason Kennedy to 25 years in prison for the sexual abuse of a minor in his house or family, and a consecutive 10 years in prison for second degree assault. He will be credited the time he has already served since his arrest in November of last year. On Apr. 28, Oliver Kennedy was found guilty of his crimes following a two-day jury trial. His sentencing is set for Jul. 17.
