K-Pop Korean Cultural Festival is almost here
SALISBURY, Md. — The Centre Library in the Salisbury Mall is hosting its first K-pop karaoke and Korean cultural event.
The family-friendly event will feature crafts such as DIY K-pop light sticks and decorating K-pop trading cards. It will also celebrate Korean culture through music and dance presented by the Korean Society of Delmarva. Attendees can enjoy K-pop karaoke and performances from a traditional Korean drum troupe and a traditional Korean dance troupe.
Wicomico County Centre Library Assistant Branch Manager Monica Buckley said, “We will have performances by the traditional drum troupe and the traditional dance troupe throughout the day. In between their sets, people will be able to go and do karaoke. It should be pretty cool, and the Korean church is actually making some food that they will be selling at our event.”
The event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
