Tractor Trailer Struck by Train Near Princess Anne

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – A tractor trailer was struck by a train while crossing the railroad tracks on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack responded to Peggy Neck Road for a report of a crash involving a tractor-trailer and train. The preliminary investigation indicates that a tractor-trailer was crossing over the tracks when the train struck the trailer, which was hauling dirt. No injuries were reported on scene.

Reports from the area indicated significant traffic delays while the accident was cleared.
