Highlights from today's games.

the bayside championship. it pits the defending conference champion and representative of the south the pocomoke warriors up against the kent island buccaneers who are currently undefeated after winning the north this season. the game is set to start in about 15 minutes there is alot of anticipation for this matchup. these teams met up in the regular season with the bucs coming out with a 4-1 win. this thing could go either way this time around, we’ll have all your highlights plus reaction to the game later on tonight, but right now im gonna send it back to the studio to tray. thanks spenser im sure there are a lot of eyes on that one tonight. well from pocomoke’s historic field hockey team, to one of the town’s native sons. former warriors soccer standout jordan becker has signed a new deal to play in the major arena soccer league with, the baltimore blast. becker spent the previous spring and summer playing for the rochester rhinos of the united soccer league, he will now bring his talents a little bit closer to home. the team’s home opener is on november 11th at royal farms arena in baltimore. and of course you know i had to throw a little football into this block, salisbury running back ryan kolb honored by the new jersey athletic conference this morning, he takes home his first ever offensive player of the week honor. kolb had a career day on saturday, as you see he carried it just 14 times, and came out with a career high 184 yards and that touchdown. salisbury still sits in first place in the conference and if they want to stay there, they’ve got to come up big this coming saturday in their game at christopher newport. that’s it for sports – more news and weather straight ahead. stay with us. catch more of the catch more of the action on our sports page
