Georgetown Responders Treat One After Crash at Lewes-Georgetown Highway

GEORGETOWN, Del. — Emergency crews responded Saturday to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Lewes-Georgetown Highway and Fawn Lane.

According to authorities, the Georgetown Fire Company and Georgetown EMS/Station 93 were dispatched at approximately 12:34 p.m. for a reported crash with entrapment. Upon arrival, 77 command confirmed that no one was trapped.

One person was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. No further details on injuries were released.
