ChristianaCare unveils plans for new health campus in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, Del. – ChristianaCare is doubling down on its mission to expand access to care in Delaware.
On Thursday, the health care company submitted a Notice of Intent to the Delaware Resources Board to develop a new health campus in Georgetown.
The expansion is part of a $865 million investment in Delaware over three years announced last July.
The new campus will feature a health center offering primary care, specialty care, behavioral health and other outpatient services.
It will also include a neighborhood hospital with eight emergency beds and eight inpatient beds.
The 42,000 square-foot campus is expected to open in late 2028 and is estimated to cost 65.1 million dollars.
