Garage Fire Ravages Millsboro Home

MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to a fully-in volved house fire on Monday morning.

At 5:17 a.m. on Feb. 9, crews responded to Chestnut Drive in Kersey’s Evergreen Acres to assist the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company. The Frankford, Gumboro, Selbyville, Roxana, and Georgetown fire companies, along with Sussex County Paramedics, also responded to assist.

Crews located a fire originating in the residence’s garage and spreading to the rest of the house. The Delaware State Fire Marshall is reportedly investigating the incident.
