Humane Society of Wicomico County hosts first Valen-Tails Gala

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. — The humane Society of Wicomico County is hosting their first ever Valentines Day Gala.

The organization invites community members to help raise funds for their new shelter while enjoying a night of love, music, and giving. The event starts at 6 PM on Valentines day, where the non-profit will be showing off 53 dogs and 55 cats, helping them find their future families. Executive Director, Kim Nock said there will be tons of food, a 50/50 raffle, and live entertainment.

Nock said, “Who has plans on Valentine’s Day? What better fun thing could you do then? Go to a Humane Society gala. So that’s at 6:00 on February 14th. We would love to see you out there. It’s going to be fun. We’ve got a DJ. We’re going to dance all night.”

The event is at Dove Pointe and tickets are $75.
