Highlights from today's games.

were talking sports, tray…big day all over the shore with some players signing national letters of intent. yeah lili that’s right. you think about it, some of these student-athletes have been playing these sports since they were toddlers and today some dreams came true. beginning in pocomoke where warriors senior dani batze signed on to play at temple university next season. batze signs on to be an owl just a season removed from winning a state title with pocomoke a season ago…she actually missed this season due to injury, but when your as good as her, the offers still seem to roll in. she was an-all state first team selection in 2015, a two-time first team all-conference selection and was a starter for all three years she laced em up as a warrior. afterward, batze was happy about her decision. temple was the best fit for me academically and athletically. the location in philadelphia was awesome. and it was just the best fit for me.. and in mardela, warriors softball standout sydney goertzen signed with division ii catawba college this afternoon. syd the kid was known for her speed on the basepath all throughout her years in the green and gold. she’ll be taking her talents to salisbury north carolina to join the indians, a team that won the south atlantic conference a season ago. on to princess anne where washington field hockey standout abby webster signed her loi to play for towson university next season. abby was a 2015-all bayside first team selection a season ago…she was a second team selection this season due to an injury cutting her season short. webster going on to be a tiger..afterwards webster speaking on the level of competition here that got her there.. we have some of the toughest competition around here the shore is where its at. there’s nothing like this anywhere else in the country. being here home in high school prepares you for college even more. and last but certainly not least, delmar’s caitlyn wink going to join webster at towson. wink is a mainstay on that delmar offensive front, led her team to the state title game a season ago, and the wildcats season still alive looking to finish her career off with a title. congrats to all our local athletes going on to bigger and better things. to the nba now where just last friday the philadelphia 76ers got their first win of the season…which also happened to be their first win in the months of october or november, in the past three seasons. they were in houston tonight looking for a fairly early second win of the season. philly would trail by 3 early on, and if you leave this guy open..that defecit’s just gonna get bigger. james harden knocking down the three..harden an early contender in the mvp race. but the sixers have their own mvp..the process…joel embiid with the follow there. he’s stood out amongst a pretty bad team this year. not bad..is this guy, harden rising up for another three..and then check him out on the break..dishing it off to sam dekker..houston currently leads 109-82 late in the fourth quarter. that’s it for sports. good news is just ahead- keep it right here — you’re watching 47 abc! catch more of the action on our sports page at 47abc.com hairstyles brought to you by designer’s edge
