Man Arrested for South DuPont Highway Shooting
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a shooting that took place on Thanksgiving day.
Police obtained warrants for 25-year-old Jaquan Lewis of Felton, following an investigation done in collaboration with the Delaware State Police. At the time warrants were obtained, Lewis was being held at Sussex Correctional Institute (SCI) on charges related to a separate arrest.
Lewis was arraigned while at SCI and committed on $106,100 cash bail on various gun charges.
Lewis faces charges for allegedly shooting at a vehicle while it was occupied by a 34-year-old man. The victim was uninjured during this shooting.
