Dorchester Historical Society Preparing for Heritage & Harvest

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Dorchester County Historical Society is preparing to hold their own event for the first time.

The organization is preparing to host its first ever Heritage & Harvest Festival in Cambridge this weekend, blending history and holiday.

Demonstrators will be showing those in attendance different historical aspects at the Meredith House.

“It is indeed for the young ones to know where they have come from, where they are, and where they are going in their future. So we are here to recreate the experiences of those from past generations,” says Historical Society Executive Director, Marcos Salaverria.

Heritage & Harvest will take place at the Histroical Center at 1003 Greenway Drive from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Saturday, October 25th.
