Man arrested following trespassing, threats of arson at Piney Narrows Yacht Haven

CHESTER, Md. – A man in Queen Anne’s County is facing mulitple charges following an incident at the Piney Narrows Yacht Haven.

A deputy from the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the marina around 8:24 p.m. on October 7th. When police arrived, the victim reported that Nathaniel Williams had entered her boat and attempted to lock her out. The victim added that she knew Williams, and he was not supposed to be on the premesis. In an argument earlier that day, the victim said Williams had threatened to light the boat on fire.

Williams was found at the nearby abandoned Old Narrows Outlets. He was detained and told not to return to the boat, but police say Williams returned less than ten minutes after he was released. Deputies said they found him standing on the boat. He was arretsed.
