Police searching for wanted man considered to be armed and dangerous

CRISFIELD, Md. – Police in Maryland are searching for a Crisfield man who they say is considered to be armed and dangerous after he fled from police.

An officer with the Crisfield Police Department was at Dollar General when 21-year-old Christopher Gale reportedly shouted to the officer and asked if he was going to be at his upcoming court date. It was then discovered that the man was wanted by the Fruitland Police Department for an assault and weapon charge.

We’re told that Gale then ran away from the officer, and a Princess Anne Police officer who was providing aid saw him driving in a Camaro. A high speed chase then ensued through Chesapeake Avenue before Gale lost control of his car and crashed into an unoccupied pick-up. Gale reportedly was able to evade police and K-9 units.

Gale is described as a male, 5’10” and about 170 pounds.
