Pathway to Prevention Forum

SALISBURY, Md. — Wicomico Goes Purple is hosting its Pathways to Prevention: Turning Pain Into Purpose discussion forum tonight.

The event gives the community a chance to ask questions of substance misuse prevention experts. Wicomico County health officials say the forum is important because it helps reduce stigma, educates the community and provides a safe space for anyone who needs it.

Overdose prevention coordinator Juleanna Willis said, “We’re here to help. We’re here to provide support. I know it can be a challenging time. I don’t want to act like I know how it is for everybody. But there is help. There are resources. You’re not alone in this fight.”

The event wraps up tonight at 7 p.m. at the Wicomico Public Library.
