Police: Person suffers serious injuries in Greenwood crash

Police say that they are investigating a shooting that happened in Greenwood on Friday afternoon.

Investigators say that around 3 p.m. on Hickman Road, just north of southbound route 16, a single car crash happened where one person suffered serious injuries.

Hickman Road is currently closed in both directions and drivers are asked to find other routes of travel around the crash scene.

The investigation into the crash is in its early stages. More information will reportedly come out when the investigation ends.
